Acceptance of Self as Love
I have heard so many stories in my time of people feeling like they aren't where they should be in life. These inner words, and feelings that go with them, are devastating to people. Today I want to talk about the healing that can happen when we accept where we are at while simultaneously knowing we are meant for more.
When we don't rush the process of growth, and see each step as progress, we can stop the judgement. Stop the shame. Stop feeling unlovable or worth less. When we accept how far we've come--maybe not as far as we intend to go, but still as far as we've come--as good, it opens up the possibility of loving ourselves. And when we love ourselves, our thoughts change. What we accept in our lives change, and how we reach for our goals increases in passion. Who doesn't want that?
