Personal Experiences and Science keep showing us that working with our bodies is much more profound for deep healing than just talk therapy or behavior changes.  As a former therapist who has offered a lot of talk therapy, even I agree with this.  It only gets a person so far.

 Today, Chris does an excellent job of walking us through what the process might be like to work with a holistic therapist who includes somatic work.  Curious?  Me too!

 Chris is a holistic therapist who weaves trauma informed yoga, breathwork, meditation and brainspotting into her services with clients.

We do an impromptu body scan, which was great!  Here are some meaningful questions you can ask to connect more deeply to your body.

  1. Where in your body do you feel strong?
  2. Where in your body do you feel centered?
  3. Where in your body do you feel neutral/numb?
